What is the real purpose of Life?

Once upon a time there lived a very wise man. He was the mayor of a local Village. Everyone respected him and his views and opinions were  well-regarded. Many people came to him seeking for advice. His son however was very lazy and wasted his time by sleeping and spending time with his friends no amount of advice or threat made any difference to him. It would not change at all. The years passed and with time faded the Youth of the wise man as he Grew Older he began to worry about his son's future. He recognized that he had to give his son something so that he could take care of himself and his family in the future.

So one day the wise man called his son to his room and said my son you are no more a kid and now, you must learn to take responsibilities and understand life. I want you to find the real purpose of your life. And once you find it, remember it always and you will lead a life full of happiness and joy forever. He then handed his son a bag when the son opened the bag he was surprised to see that there were four pair of clothes one for each season, there were also some raw fruits, greens, lentils, little money and a map. Father continued to the son I want you to find a treasure. I have drawn a map of the place where the treasure is hidden. You need to go and find it. The son loved this idea and for the first time he thought that his father had a good idea for him.

So the next day he eagerly set out on a journey to find the treasure. He had to travel really far across borders, forests, plateaus and mountains. Days turn into weeks and weeks turned into months along the way he met a lot of people he was helped by some with food and shelter. He also came across Robbers who tried to rob it and people who try to cheat he experienced the best and the worst of Humanity on his way. Seasons changed and so did the Landscapes along with it. When the weather was unpleasant he halted for the day and continued his journey when the weather cleared. Finally after a long year he reached his destination. It was a cliff. The map showed the treasure being placed below the cliff under the tree. Upon spotting the tree he began to dig the ground. He searched and searched around it, under it, over it, but he found nothing. He spent two days looking indeed for the Treasure by the third day he was so exhausted that he decided to leave disappointed over his father's lie.

He headed back to his home on his way back he experienced the same changing Landscapes and Seasons. This time however, he holds it to enjoy the blooming flowers in Spring and the dancing birds in Monsoon. He stayed in place  only to watch the sunset or to enjoy the pleasant summer evenings. Since the supplies he carried were over by then he learned to hunt and make arrangements for his meals. He also learned how to sew his clothes and shelter himself. He was now able to determine the hour of the day by the position of the Sun and plan his Journey accordingly. He also learned how to protect himself from wild animals. He met the same people who had helped him earlier. This time he stayed  few days with them and help them in some other way to repay them. He realized how nice they were to an ordinary passerby who had nothing to offer to them in return.

When he reached home he realized it had been two years since he left the place. He walked straight into his father's room. Father he said, the father immediately jumped his feet and hugged his son. So, how was your journey my son. Did you find the treasure he asked? The journey was fascinating father, but forgive me for I wasn't able to find the treasure. Maybe somebody took it before I reached. He surprised himself by what he just said. He wasn't angry at his father instead he was asking for forgiveness.

There wasn't any treasure in the  place my son, the father answered smilingly. But why did you send me to find it then? son asked. I will surely tell you why but first you tell me how was your journey to the place. Did you enjoy it? Of course not father. I had no time. I was worried. Someone else would find the treasure before I did. I was in a hurry to reach the cliff. But I did enjoy the journey on my way back home. I made many friends and witnessed Miracles every day. I learned so many different skills and the Art of survival. There was so much I learned that it made me forget the pain of not finding the treasure.

Exactly my son I want you to lead your life with a goal. But if you remain too focused on the goal, then you will miss out the real Treasures of Life. The truth is life has no goal at all other than to just experience it and grow with every single day.

The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.”

What is your real worth? Know your self-worth

I want to share a very important story with you. It's a story about a father who was in the deathbed before he died that father said to his son “Here is a watch your grandfather gave me. It's almost 200 years old before I give it to you, go to the jewelry store in the city and tell them that I want to sell it and see how much they offer. The son went to the jewelry store came back to his father and said they offered $100 because it is so sold. The father said try with the Pawn shop the son went to the Pawn shop came back to his father and said they offered only $20 because it has a scratch. The father asked his son to go to the museum and show them the watch; the son quietly questioned his father's judgment, but still willing to act on his father's last wishes. He went to the museum and when he came back, he said to his father the curator offered $375,000 for this rare piece to be included in the precious antique collection.   The father respondent: I wanted to show

What helps to understand Love?

This story tells you what is need to understand Love. On this Earth a long long time ago before humans were on this planet even before Dinosaurs were on this planet, by that time only feelings inhabited the Earth. There was an island where all the feelings lived Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge and all of the others including Love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the island was going to sink. It was inevitable the island would sink into the deep vast ocean. So they all needed to get off the island as soon as possible. So all the feelings prepared boats and left into the open Sea to see what would happen. Love was the only one who stayed on the island. Love wanted to stay on the island until it started to sink and when Love was almost sinking it decided to ask for help.  Wealth was passing by love in a beautiful boat and love asked ‘Wealth! Can you take me with you? Wealth answered No, I can't, there are lot of gold and silver in my boat'. There is no place here for

Break your Limits

This is the story about the elephant and the Rope. Once upon a time there was a tourist who was traveling through Thailand. He was passing by some elephants and he suddenly stopped because he was confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. There were no chains or no cages and it was obvious that the elephants could at any time break away from their bonds, but for some reason they did not.  The tourist saw a trainer nearby and asked him why these animals stood there and made no attempts to get away. Well, the trainer said when they were very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and at that age it's enough to hold them. As they grow up they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the Rope can still hold them. So they never try to break free. The tourist was amazed. These animals could have any time break free from their bonds, but because they believe that they couldn'

Change your problems into Success

“What is the difference between the winner and loser The loser loses 4 times and gives up The winner also loses 11 times but succeeded in the 12 th time To succeed in life you have to learn to handle failure   You have to learn to handle problem”     Is there anybody here who doesn't have problems? Of course not, what we need to learn most important in life is your attitude towards problems. So the first thing then is to expect problems. As Murphy’s law states if anything can go wrong, it will. Many people when they have a problem in their work they said “Ohh God I have got a problem”. However the only way you can justify your job is that there are problems which you are solving ,if there were no problems that you cannot justify why you’re getting paid. So expect problem just like when you are going uphill your climbing a hill you know the going will be tough. So how do you know that you are progressing the sign is there are problems which they are arising. And if n

Weaknesses is also a Strength

Once upon a time there was a young woman who lived on top of the hill. Every day she had to walk down the hill to collect water from a river. She had two pots to carry water which she hung upon a pole so she could carry it over her shoulders and it went on. Later on one-day one of her pots got a small crack along inside.  She observed the crack on the pot and decided she could still use it. So every day the woman carried those two parts down the hill to the river she filled them  and walked back up the hill balancing the pole across her shoulders. And by the time she reached the house the crackpot would be only half full while the other pot would be full to the top and the crackpot would glance at the other pot which the water was still filled to the top and the crackpot began to feel worthless.  The fully filled pot was proud of its accomplishment while the crackpot felt ashamed that he wasn't able to accomplish the same amount of water as the other part did. So the years went by
