And the first tool for programming our subconscious

Is self affirmation

You speak positively to yourself ”

 

Our conscious mind is what we are aware of. And through the conscious mind we program the subconscious. Hence the conscious mind become like a gateway of our subconscious.

In the modern Olympics right upto the year 1954, nonody had run the mile in less than four minutes. So all Scientists, Doctors, Sportts people used to give reasons that why we can’t run the mile in less than four minutes; they would say our lungs are not big enough, if you try you will have a heartattack and so on. So everybody self talk was I cannot do it, I cannot do it.

                                                                                          

But a person who is Roger Bannister a student of sports chaged his self talk that “I can do it”. Even people used to criticize him but he said, “I can do it”. And he kept on doing his self talk until one day, he crashed through the four minute mile barrier and he ran it on 3 minutes 59.4 seconds. Now everybody’s reference point was changed ‘ It can be done, It can be done’. In that year  27 runners crashed through the four minute mile barrier. And the next year 235 people did it. Why? Merely, because the self – talk was chamged


                                               

Our conscious mind says to us that this is harmful, this is beneficial. And with this conscious mind we are sending messages to our subconscious. Without realizing we are programming our subconscious. Unfortunately, we write all the wrong scripts that ‘ I can never succed in life, I am good for nothing’ like this now the conscious mind keep on saying this and the subconscious become programmed. But it is very important to program the subconscious properly. We need to be careful about the self - talk that we do.

 

Now what is self talk? It is keeping on talking to ourselfves. All the time it happens when we are listening to someone or something, it makes sense that we get some useful knowledge in that. So we are constantly talking to ourselves but we don’t realize it is programming our subconscious. If you keep on talking negative things, you will get programmed like that. Now, if you want to make your life a success, find happiness and fulfillment ….in that case improve your self - talk. You see it will make such a big difference.

 

Now we have a first tool for programming our subconscious it is self-affirmation. We need to speak positively to ourselves first. That “ All is well, I am happy, God is taking care”. Whatever you need you choose that phrase and revise it again and again. So we need to be conscious of our thoughts and actions, for those impact our subconscious.

 Once upon a time there was a young woman who lived on top of the hill. Every day she had to walk down the hill to collect water from a river. She had two pots to carry water which she hung upon a pole so she could carry it over her shoulders and it went on.
